Hans Graux - Time.lex

Hans Graux is an ICT lawyer, and an expert advisor to the European Commission, other public bodies and various private companies. He is a law school graduate who also obtained a complementary degree in IT. He is a lawyer, partner and co-founder of the law firm time.lex, which specialises in technology, intellectual property, media and e-business.
Recent work has focused on cloud computing, data protection, eSignatures, trust services, electronic identity management, information security and e-business. He is a member of the ICT Committee of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE), and Member of the ICT Committee of the Order of Flemish Bars.

Andries Hofkens - Sirius Legal

Andries Hofkens obtained his law degree at the KU Leuven in 2004 and studied at the KU Brussels and the Università degli Studi di Siena (I).
During his law studies Andries focused on Intellectual Property and new technologies and obtained an LL.M. in these matters at the University of San Francisco (USA). Andries also specialized in corporate law and bankruptcy.
Andries joined the Brussels Bar in 2007 and has advised clients on privacy, IP and IT related matters. He also has experience as in-house legal consultant on various projects.

Frederik Van Remoortel - Crowell & Moring

Frederik Van Remoortel is a senior counsel in the Brussels office of Crowell & Moring and has been admitted at the Brussels bar in 1998. Frederik focuses on corporate, commercial, data protection, and labor & employment law. Frederik is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (“IAPP”). Gerrit Vandendriessche - Altius

Gerrit Vandendriessche joined the Brussels bar in 1997 after having obtained a special degree in Information Technologies and Communications Law at the computer law research centre (CRID) of the university of Namur (FUNDP). He currently heads the ICT practice of the Belgian law firm Altius ( Gerrit Vandendriessche assists hardware manufacturers, software developers, system integrators, e-commerce actors, telecommunications operators and suppliers of other ICT-related services such as consulting, support and maintenance services. He regularly advices on data protection, e-commerce, cloud computing, digital signatures and trade practices matters. Gerrit Vandendriessche also conducts ICT related litigation.
